DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW MACHINE

StankoMashStroy Co. LTD specialists are developing a new lathe. It is an ST16K20 series machine, but it has a 3-meter work zone.

Bed design was fully developed with the TopSolid software of the French company TOPSOLID SAS by highly qualified specialists of StankoMashStroy Co. LTD trained to use this software in machine tool production.

Durability and rigidity of the new machine were calculated in a special program. The obtained results exceeded expectations – the calculations showed high accuracy characteristics of future ST16K20 machine with a 3-meter bed.
