PENZA INDUSTRIALISTS WILL CREATE A MACHINE-TOOL CLUSTER
In addition, Acting Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Penza Region Mikhail Torgashin presented tools for the development of industrial clusters to the meeting participants.

Oleg Kochetkov, General Director of «StankoMashStroy» LLC, pointed out that a powerful machine-tool cluster will allow achieving new economic results in the industry.
Main goals of cluster creation are the development of industrial cooperation, implementation of import substitution projects, creation of new places of work, implementation of joint projects using state support measures.
"We have quite a lot of experience in creating clusters in the Penza region. At the moment, there are two fundamentally different approaches in this direction in Russia. One is cultivated by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Second one is approach of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, in this case there is one parent company, and there are its selectors. Today, we have gradually (thanks primarily to the fact that we have «StankoMashStroy», we have «Start) we have come to the fact that we have quite good experience in metalworking and the sale of metalworking machines, " said Valery Bespalov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Penza Region.
He also promised to make every effort to get the status of a cluster in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
At the moment, «StankoMashStroy» is involving more and more regional and Russian enterprises in the production of metalworking equipment. Regional cooperation with enterprises gives the company an opportunity to increase production volumes and share of localization, improve manufactured equipment and improve its quality. In addition, cooperative relations of enterprises create favorable conditions for development of industry in Russia.
At the same time, the creation of a cluster should bring benefits to all its participants, regardless of support measures provided.
"We must clearly distribute understanding of goals and objectives of each participant of the cluster," said Mikhail Torgashin, Acting Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of the Penza Region.
In addition, creation of a regional cluster will allow obtaining more state and municipal contracts.
"Inclusion of Russian production in the register gives an advantage when participating in state and municipal procurement, and also provides an opportunity to receive a number of additional support measures," said Mikhail Antonov, Acting Deputy Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy - head of the Industry Department.
He also noted that participation in cluster consolidates efforts of companies to obtain production localization points, which are necessary when submitting documents to the State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the state information system of industrialists.
"At the e moment, on the initiative of Oleg Alexandrovich Kochetkov, there is a situation where good conditions have been created in the region for the creation of a machine tool construction cluster," Mikhail Antonov summed up.
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed implementation of the planned project and summed up the results of the meeting.
