Cooperation with the Production Association “Elektropribor”

Specialists of the “PO Elektropribor” public company visited StankoMashStroy factory. The main goal was to discuss the details of mutually beneficial cooperation regarding the turning equipment production.

During the visit, two companies reached an agreement that the “Elektropribor” company would be engaged into the manufacture of electrical cabinets for metalworking equipment produced by StankoMashStroy.

In addition, the production association is planning to continue the development and production of CNC systems for turning machines of the StankoMashStroy.

In the past few decades, the foreign suppliers of CNC systems are the leaders in the market. There is an increasing need in multifunctional metalworking equipment with additional options, which greatly enlarge the capabilities of equipment for processing parts of high complexity. Therefore, the problem of import substitution in the current difficult economic conditions is particularly relevant. More and more enterprises of the Penza region are getting involved into the machine tool manufacturing process. Internal cooperation is gaining strength and this means the need to create a machine-tool cluster in the Penza region for the development and mass production of modern high-precision machine tools and machining centers.
