Coproduction potential with the large company from Sweden

The representatives of Swedish company have visited StankoMashStroy with the business offer on export cooperation and coproduction at the territory of the Penza enterprise on April 26th.

The company has one-century histor, it has been founded in 1856, enters into three largest manufacturers of the metalworking equipment in the country. A main type of production – the heavy duty turning centers and robotic complexes.

Representatives of the Swedish company have got acquainted with the technological capacities of “StankoMashStroy” and have held negotiations with the top management of the enterprise. The parties have discussed a possibility of coproduction both on the existing areas and planned ones. The works on the base construction were finished on the territory of “StankoMashStroy”and the frame assembly of new building where plan to place the assembly shop for production of the turning equipment have been started . The total area of new building will be more than 1700 sq.m.

"For us potential cooperation opens new opportunities, the entrance to higher level and increase the product range. The turning equipment of such class isn't presented by any domestic manufacturer. In a line of the produced equipment there are specialized hi-tech models which will be especially demanded in the oil and gas industry", - the CEO of the “StankoMashStroy” company Oleg Kochetkov has noted the main advantages of the forthcoming partnership.

While negotiations the preliminary agreement that the foreign company will present the equipment produced by “StankoMashStroy” in Sweden has been reached. To start mutually beneficial partnership it is planned to get one unit of the metalworking equipment – the universal lathe ST16k20.

The largest Scandinavian exhibition of the metalworking equipment will take place in the middle of May in one of the cities of Sweden where, the machine produced by “StankoMashStroy” will be presented.
