Successful modernization

In January 2020, StankoMashStroy's service department specialists upgraded the TOSHIBA MPC-2000 (Japan) portal, two-pallet, milling center on their own. This type of equipment is used for processing large-sized parts, which are subsequently used in the assembly of metalworking machines of StankoMashStroy production.

In the process of modernization, a number of works were performed: dismantling the drive unit for the machine main movement, replacement of seals and collets for fixing the cutting head. It stands to mention that the collets were made in-house according to the drawings developed by design and engineering department specialists of the company based on actual samples.

Modernization of existing equipment will significantly improve labor productivity.
