Management of the association “Stankoinstrument” about the enterprise: “Just a fairy tale”
The main purpose of the visit is to assess the development prospects of one of the largest enterprises in machine building industry and to discuss the possibility of cooperation in Russia.
The guests visited the Penzkompressormash plant, with which StankoMashStroy has close mutually beneficial cooperation. For several years, the beds for lathes have been cast here. The management of the Stankoinstrument Association noted the quality and accuracy of castings, as well as production volumes.
At StankoMashStroy, Alexey Peskov and Viktor Ivakhov, accompanied by the head of the government of the Penza region, Nikolai Simonov, and personally Oleg Kochetkov, the company's general director, visited the mechanical and assembly shops, got acquainted with all the stages of metalworking equipment production. The guests highly appreciated the modern production, innovative and import-substituting technologies used in the enterprise, and the quality of the products.
"StankoMashStroy" is developing very well. It’s just a fairy tale, ”said Alexey Peskov, vice-president of the Stankoinstrument Association. “I can say with confidence that today it is one of the flagships of the Russian machine tool industry.”
Speaking about the development of the industry as a whole, Alexey Peskov stressed that today the President and the Government are setting the task to reanimate the Russian machine tool industry. And for this, it is necessary to develop cooperation in Russia, increase the share of exports and attract foreign investors.
“The Russian market is not very big, but we need to grow at a faster pace. However, technology is needed for that. My task is to attract a Western investor to StankoMashStroy, and on its example – to other small and medium enterprises. This will provide a powerful impetus to the development of the Russian machine tool industry, ”said Alexey Peskov, Vice-President of the Stankoinstrument Association.
