Georgy Samodurov (President of "Stankoinstument” association) presented a report on results of 2021, and also familiarized audience with plans and main directions of the organization's work for 2022. Industrial production index was at 105.3%. Production of turning equipment continues to maintain leadership in machine tool production, - 34% of enterprises, followed by milling - 23% and drilling and boring equipment - 21%.
In 2022, the company is planning to continue it’s active development and modernization of machine tool industry, scientific and innovative activities, arranging and hosting international exhibitions. Also, starting from this year, "Stankoinstrument" association will arrange a new industry exhibition of machine tools and production technologies of exhibition "Metalloobrabotka. Technologies. Equipment — "RIMTOS" (Russian International Machine Tool and Manufacturing Technology Show). It will be held from May 23 to 27 at Crocus Expo exhibition complex.
Also, "StankoMashStroy Co" is among TOP 10 most productive enterprises of machine-tool sector. Oleg Kochetkov, the CEO of StankoMashStroy Co. LTD, told to members of Association about company's work results and plans for the future. In 2021, company’s main achievement was participation in creation of a machine-tool cluster, which included 13 industrial enterprises of the Penza region. It will significantly increase the volume of manufactured equipment and the level of localization.
Last year, company mastered production of new high-tech equipment - VTM9 vertical machining centers. The first machine was exported to Turkey for the first time to Akkuyu nuclear power plant. There are plans for 2022 to expand range of manufactured modifications.
One of the most important objectives for 2022 is the launch of its own foundry. Preparations for the implementation of this project have already begun. Oleg Kochetkov told members of the Association that production sites in Serdobsk, Penza region, were already been purchased: "It will be prepared for foundry production and for pre-processing of castings. As a result of the launch of a new production line, the company will be protected from risks of interruptions in the supply of cast blanks and price increases due to low competition in this industry."
Yuri Kuznetsov, Deputy Director of the Department of Machine Tool and Heavy Engineering, who was present at the meeting of the Association, personally thanked Oleg Kochetkov for his significant contribution to the development of the industry and high performance in work. He wished further success and achievement of set goals.
