"Day of Quality" in StankoMashStroy

On August 17, 2016, StankoMashStroy held another "Day of quality", in which the quality director of the company told colleagues about the new standard ISO 9001-2015, that shall enter into force in 2018. Also the new Federal Law of June 29, 2015 № 162-FZ "On Standardization in the Russian Federation" was briefly illuminated. The main provisions of this law came into force on July 1, 2016.

In order to study the new international standard ISO 9001-2015, the peculiarities of its implementation, as well as the further application of the Federal Law "On Standardization in the Russian Federation", the quality director of StankoMashStroy passed training in the main educational institution of Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, Federal state autonomous educational institution of additional professional education "Academy of standardization, metrology and certification" (Moscow).

The training lasted for three months - from May to July this year. The knowledge gained by the director of the company as a "StankoMashStroy" was confirmed by the excellent grades and "excellent" diploma in "Quality Management". The theme of the work was "Managing the outsourcing activities of the organization in terms of risk-based approach" in accordance with ISO 9001-2015 ».

Also the results of the production of the first commercial batch of universal ST16K20 series lathes were announced at the event; all the issues that have arisen in the course of production were taken into account. "Days of quality" are held in "StankoMashStroy" each quarter of a year to ensure a systematic analysis of quality control of products and services, it covers all the departments of the enterprise.

In order to improve the quality management system of the company, StankoMashStroy decided to implement and verify compliance with the organization's QMS according to ISO 9001:2015 already in 2017, moving forward ahead of the legislation.
