Representatives of Skolkovo fund estimated the potential of Stankomashstroy Company

On September 3, Yury Sibirsky, Deputy Head of the Skolkovo Fund Regional Development Department, and Aigul Shagiakhmetova, Head of the Regional Development Direction of the Skolkovo Fund Regional Development Department, visited the company.

The purpose of the visit to the Penza region is to search for potential Skolkovo residents among the leading enterprises in the region.

A detailed excursion was arranged specially for the guests. Yuri Sibirsky and Aigul Shagiakhmetova were able to estimate the workshops and the equipment produced. The guests were most impressed by the high degree of production localization: now it is on average 50%. For some machine models it amounts even to 70%.

Representatives of the Skolkovo Fund, who watched many other industries in different regions of the country, noted that this is a rather rare result that other enterprises should strive for.

At the same time, as the guests explained, it would be possible to increase localization by another 10-15% through the purchase of domestic electronics. However, suitable electronics are not currently being produced in Russia.

“We strive to purchase Russian components as much as possible,” said Konstantin Dobryakov, Quality Director of StankoMashStroy to guests from Skolkovo. - For example, Penza manufacturers supply cast parts to us, and electric motors and pumps are supplied from other regions. But we produce a lot components ourselves.
