IMPLEMENTING OF LEAN MANUFACTURING PRACTICE

After a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic, StankoMashStroy resumes work on the implementation of the federal project “Targeted support for increasing labor productivity at enterprises” within the framework of the national project “Labor productivity and employment support” under the guidance of experts from the Federal Competence Center for Labor Productivity (FCC).

The working group will begin the practical final stage of optimizing the production flow at the assembly site for the ST 16k20 series universal screw-cutting lathe, which was selected as a pilot site, and where the principles and tools of lean manufacturing will be applied, such as flow mapping, 5S, production analysis, standardized work.

Rational reconfiguration of the site, optimization of the assembly system, transportation, equipment storage, 5s system introduction at the workplaces will reduce the production process time, reduce the volume of incomplete machinery storage, and increase production per shift. All this will enable the enterprise to reach a new level of productivity and competitiveness without compromising the quality of its products.
