The region gains the lead in machine building industry. “Stankomashstroy ”company has opened a new workshop
The event was attended by the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev, Penza region Legislative Assembly Chairman Valery Lidin, vice mayor of Penza Denis Leontyev, President of the Russian Association "Stankoinstrument" Georgy Samodurov, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade representative Konstantin Fedorov. Oleg Kochetkov, General Director of StankoMashStroy and the company team welcomed the honored guests and showed them the operating workshop. Those present were able to see how the enterprise works. The head of production at StankoMashStroy Sergey Mityasov told about the unique equipment that employees work on. The guests could watch the product creation process.
After that, the honored guests went to the third workshop and laid the capsule with a letter to the descendants. The letter spoke about the development of region’s industry and economy, about plans for the further enterprise growth, about the importance of import substitution and the creation of new workplaces.
The main event was the opening of the second workshop, where they plan to produce 300 vertical machining centers annually. 25 new workplaces will be created here. The guests were shown a model of a vertical machining center and told about its main features.
Then the Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev addressed himself to the audience. He said that Russian President Vladimir Putin sets the task to develop the machine tool industry within the country, and the Penza region, with the participation of StankoMashStroy, is coping with it. The governor thanked the general director of the enterprise, Oleg Kochetkov, and the entire team for successful work and noted that the company has a great future and it is necessary to help on its development.
The president of the Russian association “Stankoinstrument” Georgy Samodurov noted that the opening of a new production workshop means that the Penza region is becoming a machine tool industry leader.
The Penza region Legislative Assembly Chairman Valery Lidin said that in the Penza region history such an active, large-scale development of machine tool industry has not yet happened.
Oleg Kochetkov, the head of StankoMashStroy, thanked the staff of the enterprise and the regional authorities for their support:
- First of all, I want to devote my speech to those people who helped in the machine tools industry development in the region, in the development of the enterprise. Separately, I would like to address to the Government of the Penza region and the governor. We often talk about regional industrial development. I would like to express my gratitude for the support provided. Nowadays it is difficult to develop a business, and I can honestly tell you that without the support of the regional authorities I would not have succeeded. I would also like to express my gratitude to the team, whose engineering idea is higher than in foreign countries.
