The monument of lathe operator comes to life with the mobile application

The initiative of creation of the unique project belongs to Oleg Kochetkov the CEO of the “Stankomashstroy” company. The mobile application “Monument of lathe operator” was started at a professional holiday - Machine Builders Day celebrated last Sunday of September.

Make a fascinating trip to the world of machine-tool building. The mobile application can be downloaded in AppStore and PlayMarket. For activation, it is necessary to come to the Machine Tool Builders Square which is located in Penza, on German Titov Street and where the monument of the lathe operator is established. Free Wi-Fi works here.

Put the device to QR code placed on the explanatory plate, – the mobile application is available on the iOS and Android platforms – and you will see how the bronze figure will come to life. The entertaining story about turning will be sounded by voice of the Honored artist of the Russian Federation, the actor of the Penza regional drama theater Vasily Konopatin who worked as the lathe operator in his youth.  

Further the mobile application “Monument of lathe operator” is planned to be finished and improved.
