Representatives of Penza region came to the Republic of South Korea with a working visit

A delegation including representatives of StankoMashStroy, Chairman of the Government of Penza region Nikolai Petrovich Simonov, Head of Directorate of VTB Bank in the Penza region Denis Sergeyevich Peday made a working visit to the Republic of South Korea. During the week-long visit, the representatives of the Penza region visited the leading enterprise producing metal-working machinery in South Korea – SMEC factory, NAMSUN and a number of other large machine-building enterprises, met representatives of the Government of the Republic.

The aim of the visit was to establish mutually beneficial cooperation between the Penza region and the Republic of South Korea.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Penza region and SMEC negotiated launching joint production of high-tech metal-working equipment on the premises of StankoMashStroy factory.

Companies have been maintaining long-term partnership, "StankoMashStroy" is the official distributor of SMEC brand in Russia. Launching joint production is an important step in the development and strengthening of cooperation between the companies.

As a result of the negotiations, the list of accessories that will be manufactured by each of the parties was approved.

Establishing co-production with South Korean manufacturers will allow to reduce the cost of equipment, restoration of the Russian machine-tool industry, as well as development of cooperation between the Penza region and the Republic of South Korea.
