StamkoMashStroy company presented equipment to the presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich

The RF presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich paid a working visit to Penza Region on April 11, 2016. The envoy had a meeting on measures of import substitution, which was attended by representatives of StankoMashStroy company. The meeting was held at the premises of FSUE FRPC "Production Association "Start" n.a. M.V. Protsenko in Zarechny.

Before the meeting, the delegation headed by Mikhail Babich visited the exhibition center of "Start" on the territory of which the main directions of the industrial development of the Penza region were presented.

The delegation also included the governor of the Penza region, Ivan Belozertsev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Dmitry Ovsyannikov and other officials.

StankoMashStroy Company presented a ST25 series turning center to the honored guests. The distinctive features of the equipment are a stand reinforced with ribs and a spindle unit design for vibration elimination and maximum stability at high-capacity machining. The machine is equipped with Fanuc Oi-TD CNC, TDC 12 positions turret.

As part of the program of import substitution, production of ST25 series lathe machining centers will be carried out at production facilities of the company StankoMashStroy.

Representatives of the company StankoMashStroy told about the project of construction of a joint venture for assembly of metal-machining equipment, presented a large-scale model of an industrial complex. The first production facility of the StankoMashStroy factory was opened in August 2015. Completion is scheduled in 2018. The plant is a modern and unique production, not only for Penza Region, but also for Russia as a whole.

Mikhail Babich noted the importance of this project in the framework of the program of import substitution and the huge potential of the company StankoMashStroy.

The meeting developed a number of proposals on issues of import substitution, which will contribute to the establishment of mass production of import-substituting products, as well as the maximum localization and co-operation between Russian industrial enterprises.
