Visit by RF Presidential Envoy Mikhail Babich

On July 14, 2016, RF Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich visited StankoMashStroy during a working visit in the Penza region. Envoy was accompanied by State Duma deputy Leonid Levin, the governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev, Chairman of the Government of the region Nikolai Simonov, and other officials. CTO Fyarid Kutaev made a presentation of production of machine tools, spoke about the prospects of development of the machine-building factory.

The delegation made a tour around the production facilities for turning and milling machine groups:
- ST16K20-series universal lathes;
- ST16A20-series NC lathes;
- ST25-series turning machining centers;
- VTM-series vertical machining milling centers.

Mikhail Babich noted the high level of equipment manufacturing "StankoMashStroy", wide range of products, extensive sales geography.

The main topic of discussion during the meeting was the issue of support of StankoMashStroy in solving production problems in the framework of the import substitution program implemented by the government.

Ivan Belozertsev noted the need to support Penza manufacturers of industrial products by the authorities at all levels. On behalf of the governor, in addition to the 4 clusters of activities, a machine-building cluster will be created in the Penza region.

In order to accelerate the development of production and expansion of the range of manufactured equipment, "StankoMashStroy" is declared a resident on the priority development territory in Zarechny.
