Exhibition SIMTOS 2016

From the 13th to the 17th of April in Seoul, South Korea held an international exhibition of industrial equipment SIMTOS 2016. The event has been held for many years and always attracted the leading manufacturers of industrial equipment of Korea and other countries. General Director of StankoMashStroy Oleg Kochetkov visited the exhibition, where he got acquainted with the new engineering technologies, modern automatic machines for milling, boring, grinding, cutting, industrial equipment, attachments, accessories and tools, hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical equipment, forklifts, robots, as well as automated production control and management systems.

Visiting international exhibitions is very significant as a means to get acquainted with the new technology in the machine tool industry, and to establish contacts with suppliers of equipment and components.

Also during the visit to South Korea Oleg Aleksandrovich Kochetkov met chairman of South Korea's machine tool industry committee Mr Jong-Hyeon Shon. During the meeting they discussed issues of international cooperation. In May of this year Mr Jong-Hyeon Shon’s return visit is expected, he will visit the exposition of StankoMashStroy at the international exhibition "Metalloobrabotka - 2016".
